This project delves in the complexities of analogue photography and the constant possibility of errors within its process, as a metaphor of life itself. In contrast to the culture of immediacy and “aesthetic perfection”, so widespread nowadays with the contemporary use of photography across social media. The mistakes made in these analog photographs are used deliberately as a testimony of our human condition and the unpredictability of life itself. The photographs explore the day-to-day use of photography as a tool of registry of daily life, capturing mundane and ephemeral experiences that reflect the authenticity and intimacy of life in its truest form.

Each piece is composed of an analogue photograph and a screen, in which a programming process is displayed, that allows a real-time display of the most recent photos published on Instagram, in the same place in which the analog photographs were taken.
